Product Overview
Using the wrong extinguishing agent on a Class D fire may cause more damage than the fire itself. Other than the extreme threat that all metal fires pose, one common characteristic is that all of them react violently, often exploding, when they come in contact with water.
So what is the solution to a raging metal fire?
These extinguishing agents have a blanket-effect on the fire and smother the flames by absorbing the heat
Product Features
Introduction: SPM-TEC is specially formulated powder agent based on a mixture of Eutectic Mixture of Chlorides. Conforming to world class manufacturing quality standards, it is ideal for fighting lighter metal fires in the range of 500-2000 degrees celsius. It can also be used to effectively combat small oil fires.
Extinguishing agent: TEC (SPM TEC) a specially formulated powder agent based on a mixture of 3 metal chlorides – Sodium, Potassium and Barium.
Reliable: Designed to be utterly reliable even in a typical fire situations.
Extinguishers high-temperature fires : Specially designed to extinguish fires between 600 degrees and 5000 degrees celsius by blanketing the flame with a hard crust that cuts off oxygen supply to the fire and killing the fire in seconds.
Application: Ideal for fighting lighter metal fires in the range of 500 degrees to 2000 degrees celsius and small oil fires.
Chemically tested: The extinguishing agent has been chemically treated to make it easy to spray through a nozzle, as well as make it water-repellent.
Container type: Deep drawn metal steel container.
Discharge mechanism: A simple squeeze grip activation mechanism allows you to control the discharge and optimise use of the extinguishing agent.
6 year Warranty: A 6 year Warranty means Ceasefire is looking out for the health of your fire safety products.
